Day 1

Hello friends! I'm keeping this blog on my summer vacation (and I encourage you all to do the same). I leave for India on June 25, my connecting stops are JFK airport in New York and then Brussels in Europe. Our house in India is in Coimbatore (random fact: Coimbatore is the second largest city in Tamilnadu.)


I'm actually writing this on June 24, so pardon any tense errors or confusions. I feel like I'm leaving a note for the future (in a sci-fi way).


I'll leave around 9:30am and arrive in India around 11:30pm (next day). So that'll be Sat. June 26th at 2:00pm for you guys. (http://www.worldtimeserver.com/convert_time_in_IN.aspx) What? You know I'm too lazy to do the math!


I'll try to keep the dates straight (and not call you guys around 2am, although if I do by accident, sorry in advance!) during my blog posts. I'll also put up some video and pictures when I can.


If you're really not interested, you don't have to read this. I'm just saying this so you don't feel compelled to read it. If you guys start your own (blog), please tell me!
